A unique, self-catering 3 bedroomed period house, The Miller’s House is available for short term, vacation and corporate lettings.
It’s Failte Ireland approved too!
It features a hand-crafted kitchen with cosy range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a bathroom downstairs and a family bathroom upstairs with rainhead shower and roll top bath.
The front room has a slightly studious air with antique furniture, original oil paintings, a bookcase and open fire.
There is a living room with a large couch, log burning stove and range of DVDs. There’s satellite tv and wifi too.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, all simply and comfortably furnished with comfy beds and top quality bed linen.
All rooms have handmade timber sash windows with working shutters – just as they would have used a hundred years ago.
Outside there’s a patio area, barbeque and path to the river. Because of the river we cannot have small children to stay. There’s a quiet 2km lane to walk and we are beside the woods, Killeen Golf Club and Royal Meath Equestrian Centre.
It’s a very cosy place to stay!
